In April 2022, the German foreign minister Anna Lena Baerbock together with the prime minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurtin, opened the Selac wind farm. A day that had also significance for EMS APO: 12 months earlier, the first of 27 wind turbines were discharged at the EMS APO terminal in Durres. EMS APO’s provided for the intermediate storage of towers, blades and nacelles. Wind turbines are a delicate cargo and the team of EMS APO has shown on several occasions that they can handle it. For example, the first ever wind turbine for Albania was also imported via the EMS APO terminal.
